Chocolate Brownies - 12th September 2015

Chocolate Brownies

Hey guy's so I've made a batch of chocolate brownies today and I thought I would share with you and the recipe I've used as well. If your wanting a pick me up or even just a little treat for yourself with crunchy and chewy goodness then look no further.

Here is the recipe I used to make these

What you will need:-

185g unsalted butter

185g best dark chocolate

85g plain flour

40g cocoa powder

50g milk chocolate

3 large eggs

275g golden caster sugar

Method :-

1 .Cut the unsalted butter into smallish cubes and tip into a medium bowl. Break up your  dark chocolate into small pieces and drop into the bowl. Fill a small saucepan about a quarter full with hot water, then sit the bowl on top so it rests on the rim of the pan. Put your pan over a low heat until the butter and chocolate have melted.

2. Turn the oven on to fan 160C/180C/gas 4. Using a shallow 20cm square tin, cut out a square of non-stick baking parchment to line the base. Now tip your plain flour and cocoa powder into a sieve over a medium bowl, shake the sieve so they run through together and you get rid of any lumps and bumps.

3. Once you have done that chop milk chocolate to what ever size pieces you would like inside I did mine quite small.

4. In another bowl brake your 3 Large eggs and tip in golden caster sugar. With an electric mixer on maximum speed, whisk the eggs and sugar until they look thick and creamy, like a milk shake.

5. Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the eggy mousse, then gently fold together until combined well.

6. sieve cocoa and flour mixture, into your eggy mousse and fold together well do it all combined nicely together you should then have a chocolate mousse mixture.

7. Pour your mixture into a square thin tin and spare out evenly. Once done place in your oven for 20-25 minute's once that time has pasted check your brownies by putting a knife through if you still have mixture on your knife give them another 10 minute's.

8. Once taken out and cooled down you can then cut your brownies to whatever size you would like and enjoy!.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe if you have made these then please share with me I would love to see yours too.

Much Love

Amy
